National Research Collaborative Meeting 2018

North West Research Collaborative, together with StarSurg, are hosting the National Research Collaborative Meeting 2018 on the 7th December in Manchester.

Sign up for this FREE event today! A deposit of £30 – £50 is required. All ticket deposits will be refunded following attendance at the meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting after booking, refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the conference.

Programme

The provisional programme for this event is now available at: https://nwresearch.org/nrcm2018. A complementary programme of breakout sessions will be published later in the year.

Abstract Submission – **DEADLINE 16th July 2018**

We invite submission of abstracts for the following categories:

  1. Written Abstracts – either a completed study, those with early results, a study curently recruitng or a study due to start recruitment shortly: 300 word abstract
  2. Visual Abstracts – either a completed study, those with early results, a study currently recruiting or a study due to start recruitment shortly: All suitable visual abstracts will be uploaded to the NRCM2018 Twitter page and social media engagement tracked. The top 10 scoring abstracts will feature in the ‘Top of the Tweets’ session at NRCM2018.
  3. Student Abstracts – submissions from medical students proposing future collaborative projects (can be supported by data from previous projects the student has done): 300 word abstract. The winning abstract authors will receive guidance from STARSurg and National Research Collaborative with a view to designing a future national collaborative study.

A prize of £100 worth of book vouchers will be presented to winning abstracts in each category.

One-Stop Research Clinic Submission – **DEADLINE 3rd September 2018**

A panel of experts will be available at NRCM 2018 to provide feedback and assistance with further development of new research. Submissions for this session should be studies which are currently in development and have not yet started recruitment. Submissions for research proposals should be a maximum of 300 words.
